Best Two rotary files are made of nickel-titanium (NiTi) and designed for root canal preparation in endodontic treatments.
Characteristics
- Tip: inactive and non-sharp, ideal for following the anatomy of the canal without deviation.
- Variable taper: variable distance between the coils that reduces the 'coiling' effect and improves the evacuation of detritus.
- Available lengths: instruments with 16 and 21 mm active parts, with total lengths of 21, 25 and 31 mm.
- Identification: standarizade coloured rings for an easy identification, with grooves in the neck that indicate the taper of the instrument.
Advantages
- Full-length use: each file is inserted directly up to the working length, facilitation the clinical procedure and contributing to greater efficiency in treatment time.
- Cutting design: 'S' shaped cross-section with two active cutting edges, allowing efficient cutting and effective removal of dentin tissue, reducing the risk of instrument breakage.
- Adaptability tovarious morphologies: this system easily adapts to different anatomical configurations of the canasl, even those that have marked curvatures or reduced diameters.
- Compatibility with standard equipment: can be used with most endodontic micromotors on the market. Optimal working speed between 300 and 350 rpm.
Use
- Basic sequence (for most cases):
N. 10/.04 Creating a slip path
N. 15/.05 Initial duct widening
N. 20/.06 Shaping of the middle third
N. 25/.06 Standard apical preparation
- Complementary instruments (for wide ducts):
N. 30/.05 Additional apical magnification
N. 35/.04 Wide ducts
N. 40/.04 Very wide ducts
N. 25/.07 Widening of the coronal third
